Manning - Benning has to be the worst pairing in the league.

I can’t believe we are away to them on the ass-end of another third game in four nights.
We are more comfortable position in a battle for first in the Conference than they are for a WC spot.
They are rested.
They are desperate.
They will treat this like game 7 of the SCF.
5-2 to us.

Sorry, it’ll only be 8-0.
Bennett is over due a goal called back.
Or have you already factored that in?

It is the worst pairing on the Oilers, therefore it is the worst pairing in the league.

Forget shutouts and blowouts. Just win the damn game and rack up another two points. Snake is hungry.
GFG!

That oiler lineup is straight up horrible outside of their big 3. If I were a fan I'd be truly disgusted to see this was what the organization builds around the league's premiere player. Even as a flames fan I'm disgusted.
There really is no reason to see their lineup on paper and lose this game. No reason whatsoever. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little worried. But a humiliating Oilers loss would fix it right up.

Looking at that Oilers lineup the Flames should have this game in a laugher but the Oil always seem to step up when the Flames are in town. That 1-0 win last game was against a similarly tired team that was missing Backlund and Gio while winning a far more important and emotional game for 1st in the west against the Preds the night before. Flames are in a better position to win today

I would have liked to see Peluso in the lineup for tonight's game.

The Flames PP at 54 percent over the past while should be a suitable deterrent for the rock heads on the Oilers.

Hopefully Junior will smack McDiver around and cause the cavemen to chase him around the ice taking stupid penalties. Then Junior will summon his stache power and score another 2 powerplay goals.

That’s very true. This has always been the best deterrent against teams that wanna run around. Still, probably would have dressed Peluso.

Where are the mods, can't we move this kind of stuff to the Back Burner, isn't that what it's there for?
Oh, wait. You're talking about this league.

Mr Sticky is up early for this one. I asked him how he thought things would go tonight and he asked to borrow my phone.

Colby Cave is my wifes Cousin so i have been following him for a couple of years now. Up and down from the minors and NHL, he struggled a little bit in Boston.
He is from Sask, and while I feel for him being picked up by the Oilers, it gives him another opportunity to become a full time NHLer, and he moves a hell of a lot closer to home, which might help him. With how bad the Oilers are, he should get more playing time than he did in Boston.
With that being said, I hope the Flames win 6-3, and Colby Cave getting a hatty!
