Bank on it after losing 7-1 to TB.

Not go full speed into the goalie. It gets called literally every time

Don't forget they played in Columbus on Tuesday so that is four games in six days. Not surprised at the loss but agree if that is all the Oilers have....ha, ha, ha. Actually, five games in eight days. Yikes!!!!

Not many teams in the league could lose their number 2 centre and a second/third line winger and not have to call you some minor league guys. The depth on this team is fine.

It's just we need guys like Neal and Bennett to step up in the absence, be it offensively and defensively. This just shows how much Backlund is missed on this team. From a possession and defensive standpoint. Notwithstanding the fact he chips in offensively as well and has chemistry with Tkachuk.

I try to avoid singling guys out who aren’t producing, but...this would have been THE game for Neal to get going.

Oilers deserve some credit. The Flames didn't have a lot of space all night and I can't remember a game where they were totally shut down. They looked tired and it wasn't their best effort but there wasn't a lot of room out there. It's ugly hockey but I suppose that's the only way they are going to win games. Peluso doesn't help a lot in a 1-0 game as predicted the Flames would have been better off keeping Lomberg in the lineup.

Some people just need something to complain about.

Tough game to watch. Just a step behind and losing every battle all night long. Nobody really seemed to be gong. Maybe Johnny, but he was pretty average too. Oh well rest up and move on. Can’t let up with teams behind us continuing to win.

One bright side was Rittich though. Thought he played really well. Was nervous to see how he’d rebound after getting pulled his last start, but he was great. Great sign if both goalies are playing well.

Meh - tired club and that was the best the Oil could muster? Not impressed. With Gio, Fro and Backs in the result is most likely quite different.

Not worried. Didn't like the penalties, but that happens when guys are tired and reaching now. Stupid of the NHL to even bother scheduling a game like that. Especially against a rival as close as these two.

OTOH, the HFOil fans can now happily plan their parade!

Maybe we should all post there?

Problem is you just don't have a clue what you are talking about

The best offensive player that has the puck the most has the most turnovers, its not rocket appliances

When Bennett scores over a point per game he can have more leeway

I know he carries the puck so he has more turnovers than most, but tonight he was BRUTAL.

oilers' goalie whacking the post with his stick every time the puck moved in his direction was incredibly annoying.

#### off Brendan Dunlop. Fricking Oiler fanboy!! Starts off Sportscentral by saying good evening Alberta, well a better evening in northern Alberta than southern Alberta. Sure Dunlop, we’re all so sad here in southern Alberta having to watch the top team in the western conference. If only we could be northern Albertans cheering for a crap trapping hockey team that’s missed the playoffs 11 out the last 12 years!! Yeah that would be so much better. IDIOT!!
