No, actually it’s not as the Oilers lead the league in games against tired teams when rested vs. games against rested teams when tired. 18 vs. 8.

Calgary is 12 vs. 10 I believe, so no you won’t hear Oilers fans say stuff like this because they would never acknowledge anything that would make them look worse than they are.

The only good thing about this result is that the Oilers don't get the ROW. I know only a third of the schedule has been played, but, the Oilers are 2 points back of the 8th place Wild. UGH.

It sure was as he let in those 5 goals on 23 shots. The Hurricanes played well as they fired 40 shots on Martin Jones who played well in net for the Sharks. Timo Meier and Joe Thornton each had 3 points. Thornton had 3 assists which puts just 2 assists back of Marcel Dionne for 10th place on the all time assist list. Each team had a PPG.
