Transplant and Iceman lose Pat C to back injury.
Kind of a mediocre start but could be some interesting things happen this year. Weather looks to be very crappy.

If there had been a tribal council I'd be inclined to agree, but there wasn't so that leaves it a bit lacking. None the less I think this will be a good season... interesting characters on both tribes. I think Christian will go far, he got a lot of screen time and considering it was a premier episode that didn't feature a vote I think who the editors invested screen time on says something.

I agree I am getting David Wright vibes from him, aka the guy who grows so much on the show

Had to laugh when Goliath team picks the two weakest players and both of my picks step fwd. that was my strategy in the draft this time around, try and pick some unlikely winners.

Wasn't expecting the vote to go that way, but also not terribly surprised. Not sure it's a good pick for the team, though. I can easily see the David's continuing to lose their way to the merge.
I got a huge chuckle out of Natalia and her 'strategy' of "Lay low and make friends with everyone"...She's pretty much doing the exact opposite. It's a bit disturbing to see someone so self-unaware not to realize that, though.

I would not be able to handle that weather. Driving rain, wind, cold and nothing to keep warm, ugh.

neither player up for votes was going to be helpful in the more physical challengers.

Well seems like a riveting episode last night spurring lots of discussion.
Good call with the vote IMO - it was an easy one

Can't say that I'm too surprised to see the vote go that way. The majority of the tribe is right. Natalie's pretty unrepentant, and a pretty easy vote at any time. I can even see her getting a carry to the final 3/4 or so as she's an easy dump-vote.

With Jeremy voted out transplant is unceremoniously booted after 3 episodes...fastest ever?
Fuzz also with his first loss.

That was a pretty good episode. Don't know about the split into 3 tribes. That can't last very long.
That Idol Nullifer is a huge advantage...if you can play it properly. That's a neat addition to the game!
Man, is Gabby ever whiny. But props to her for her calling during the challenge.
Not surprised that Natalia got blindsided. Apparently the Goliath's haven't watched the game before and don't realize that being a bossy b**** gets you voted out.

Still not sure I like that vote. Now the Goliaths will be down 3-2 in that tribe. I said before the vote that they needed to suck it up and keep the numbers. But apparently what's his face didn't agree. Will be interesting to see how that tribe unfolds from here.
I agree about the new idol........I like it.

It was a super stupid play. The juice wasn’t worth the squeeze.
A “big move” that did nothing but weaken his position in the game.

Been thinking some about this Idol Nullifer...It has to be used at Tribal, so it can't be used to prevent a trip TO Tribal, but I wonder if it could be used to nullify the Individual Immunity Idol once there. Or if it's only good on Hidden Immunity Idols.
If it can be used on Individual Immunity, then it's even bigger than I thought (and still really awesome).

I’m pretty sure it’s hidden immunity. You have to play it when you vote. Thus it’s a surprise. If it was regular immunity then you’d have to tell everyone.
The trick is knowing who has one and when will they play it. It’s a pretty tough advantage.

Ya, it doen't seem suited to helping someone on the outs becuase the person who has an idol won't be playing it if it's one of those sure thing votes. So it would probably be played from a position of power to get someone out who everyone wants out, but they never get an opportunity becuase everyone knows they have an idol, or they keep finding idols. It would be a "flush the idol" type of vote, then you could eliminate them at the same time.
