Some various media outlets are comparing this to Apollo 13, the whole world is watching.

"A FIFTH boy has reportedly been saved from the cave in Thailand as the lads' distraught parents face an agonising wait today as the heroic rescue operation continues."
Names of the rescued boys have been released.
"The lads were named in local media as Monhkhol Boonpiam, 13, Prachak Sutham, 14, Natthawut Thakhamsai, 14, and Phipat Phothi, 15."

That was definitely amazing to watch. The Quecreek Mine rescue in Pennsylvania was also great to see.

More good news! Another three boys have been extracted from the cave. That makes it eight down and five to go. Don't stop believing.

Given the circumstances and race against time, this is pretty much a miracle they are managing to slowly get out. Unbelievable work by the rescuers and volunteers from around the world who rallied together to pull this off.
My faith in humanity is temporarily restored.

It's beautiful to watch the human spirit.
The fight, the determination, the compassion, the resourcefulness, the cooperation. Everyone is on the same page, working toward the same goal.

These cases always kind of make me wonder at the irrationality of people.
Like, you can easily get people to agree that we should spare no effort and use all the resources necessary to try save 12 kids from a cave, but it's really hard to get people to agree to help get even basic healthcare to other kids.
I'm not saying it to be negative, this just is the human nature. Sometimes beautiful, sometimes ugly, never completely rational.

This Elon/SpaceX/Tesla/Boring pod gives me tons of relief as they get to the weaker boys.
This has been an incredible story, and only getting the high-level updates leaves a lot of incredible stories to tell here. Every bit of info I see on the caves they're going through are remarkable. There are a lot of close-calls and heroic feats that haven't been told yet to make this happen.

With only 5 boys+coach remaining to rescue, do you think they'll try to do all 5 people tomorrow in a single burst? Seems unlikely they would do 4 tomorrow + 1 the following day?

I don't think they're going to alter the process that to this point has been quite successful. If they try to rush, and someone dies, it's unforgivable.

Some reports say the coach is actually out, but I'm not sure if that was false.
I've been wondering the same thing though, but it sounds like the guys taking the 4 out are the most capable team to do it, and adding another might not be ideal with the people they have coming through.
Everything I've heard is that the coach isn't doing so well, so I think that one will be a different mission than the kids.

Does anyone know how many other people are in the cave now? It seems like they'll need to get quite a few people out after the soccer players are all out.
I wonder if they'd actually use Musk's submarine. That seems pretty crazy to trust it to survive that journey after being built and tested in a weekend.

And really, if they leave one behind, that person isn't alone, as medical support people have been in the cave with them since they were discovered. If everyone was gone, it would be awful to be that last person waiting, but it some of the rescuers are there as well, it wouldn't be as bad.

If I’m that coach I’d insist on being he last person out of that cave.

Reports are that he sacrificed his share of the available food and water for the boys so I don't think he would be selfish enough to not be last...
Hopefully it doesn't affect his rescue though.

I would imagine the professional rescuers have the final say in the order of who is rescued.
There might be a different protocol for the coach given that he's a grown man vs the young boys and they save him for last for that reason alone. Who knows. Or maybe they are taking the weakest or sickest.
