Confidence in my teams back up again, after a 2/3 finish.
I think Nancy & Mellisa could win it. Nancy is a real grinder lol. I really do expect they will make finale, but this episode shows nothing is ever certain.
I really like Dylan & Kwame, so I want to see them around til the end, but I'm not still holding out much hope there, although they definitely do have the physicality to overcome what they lack in the smarts department, so far.

I like Nancy and Melissa, but I don't know if they have the 'jam' to finish in the finale unfortunately.

Agreed, dancing challenges are terrible. In fact, it's my first rule of Amazing Race: never pick the dancing challenge! They aren't even getting a choice, getting saddled with them at roadblocks every other leg.
There hasn't really been too many interesting challenges so far. I guess watching people paddle boat in a river in suburban Ontario isn't really what makes Amazing Race interesting to watch...

I loved how the little girl just shows up, answers the clue and she’s like,it’s right over there. If she was wearing a “Built by Chevy” shirt I would have thought she was product placement.

Yeah, that was pretty funny. I liked when she solved the puzzle, told the team the answer, and they just stood there staring at her until she pointed at the clock tower of the City Hall.

Has there ever been a Reddit AMA with any former contestants?
I assume contestants have quite a confidentiality clause in their contract so maybe this isn't possible but I'd like to hear how the Race actually happens behind the scenes and how scripted it actually is.

I don't know if there have been any for TAR:Canada, but there have been for racers on the US version. Just do a Google search for "Reddit AMA Amazing Race".
The Canadian version usually has a recap episode after the finale (and had a midseason one in a couple of the early seasons) where they might reveal some secrets that weren't shown in the episodes.

So far the challenges are really just heavy product placement. TBH it hasn't been that exciting this season outside of the first leg. "Back up this Chevy Volt!" "Box up some dempsters bread!" "Build a Chevy door"
Something I was worried about when I heard the Heroes theme, that they would push the kindness and caring.
I want to see people crying and being broken down by the race!

'we're not going to u turn'
'we're not going to u turn'
'we're not going to u turn'
'we're not going to u turn'
is perhaps honourable, but doesn't necessarily make for good TV
You pick your toughest competition (struggling in current leg), and you step on their throat with u turn. So if I'm Dylan and Kwame, for example, I absolutely u turn Courtney and Adam.
