Bennett was supposed to be a "hate to lose" guy in a Doug Gilmour vein.

I think you try to flush as many of

Hathaway
Brouwer
Stajan
Frolik
Stewart
Ferland

out as possible

Lazar and Shore can stick around. Goes without saying that they cling on to Bennett and Jankowski because they can do no wrong.

Ferland, Frolik and even Brouwer can play roles. And "flushing"? Really?

This however has to be one of the worst scoring slumps in franchise history.

edit: It could be worse:

2002/03
Rangers - 0
Panthers - 0
Thrashers - 1
Rangers - 1
Blues - 0
Wings - 0
Oilers - 1

3 goals in that 7 game losing streak.
Even before that, there wasn't all that much scoring for the first 20 games and right after that 7-8 game winning streak. But this drought is really bad. You can tell there's a really big hope on the right side of this team. You can tell that if the Flames have at least a capable right sitting right winger, there with be that many shutouts.

Why can't they just shoot at the net for the car?

Story of the flames season even the intermission games are boring and repetitive

Here's what's wrong with sportsnet and the flames. We're watching a stupid contest during the intermission. Is there nothing better to show?

If they get shutout tonight and against the Oilers we tie that. So far 3 goals in 5 and 2/3 games.

I thought it was some mistake on NHL gamecenter..they actually purposefully televised that? Another win for quality presentation.

That wheel spin was like GG's coaching. West. Spin again. West. Spin again. West...

That's how sponsorship's work. They're not giving away that lease to NOT get the publicity that comes with it.

Can hang on to some of them, but not too many of those role playing, offensively challenged guys, otherwise you just have a bunch of hard working guys that bring energy, maybe some character, but can't help win games. Like what we've been watching for a while now.

Yes *flushing gesture"

This forward group beyond three players is so incredibly starved of creativity and skill. A little bit is on GG system and deployment but much of it is still on these players and their abilities. They've had how many shots and possession but can't finish to save their lives. This make up of our 2-4 lines is not gonna work if we want to win.

Ferland possesses some decent skill and is an exception, but he's so wildly inconsistent that he's better dealt to help bring in assets to gain a better solution while his stock is high. And he clearly can't drive things on his own. Cash in on his 20 goal season.

For the past few years they've taken any fun and suspense from winning a car. Seriously. Before it was walking with boxes. Now its standing and watching a dial.

At the game and all I want s one goal. Seems like a stretch. Can't really fault Gillies. Maybe the 3rd goal but PLD labeled it.
