I'm watching that game right now. How is it horrible?
The Pens player on his own takes the puck below the red line. He then tries to cut through the blue paint. So what is Andersen supposed to do? Just back off him? Hainsey has to stay tight to him. He makes contact with Andersen's head.
To me that is a borderline call. In no way horrible.

That was a terrible, horrible, awful, putrid call. Hainsey was responsible for Dumoulin contacting the goaltender, but the Penguins lose the goal and get a penalty.
I hate that call.
They need to change the goalie interference rule and the offside rule because both rules have produced umpteen ludicrous results since their inception. Barf.

So a player skates below the red line you have to give him the front of the net? There is no push. He's taking his man. The Pens player is already skating deep through the blue on his own.

There was definitely a push from leafs dman. Or an attempted push anyway. Arm brushes right off his body.
But like you, I agree with the call. Pens player entered crease on his own, not because he was hit or pushed. And if you watch the side angle, the push had absolutely no effect on his path or his body at all really.
Clearly interference.

With Andersen's win tonight he now sits at 33 on the season.
Only needs to win 5 more this season to wipe Raycroft's disgusting memory off this franchise's history.

Whether the Oilers win or lose it's a win-win at this point. They either lose and suck or win and get negative Dahlin points. Life is good.

Haha damn you.
The funny thing about that season is Raycroft was still horrible. It's not even like he played decent. They won despite of him.
Raycroft's stats that season:
GP 72 Wins 37 GAA 2.99 SvPct .894
Leafs management was so bad for so long.

Just in time for all the "experts" to pick them to win the Pacific next year.

Its been like that ever since he came on the scene for that undeserving, embarrassing franchise. Its ridiculous.

This season is really everything we could ever ask for, all the way to the little late season run that makes oilers brass believe that the solution is indeed in the room. Classic oilerism.

It's actually more of a McDavid run than an Oilers run. The guy is scoring goals like crazy right now, and he's basically 99% of their offence. If not for him, they'd easily finish dead last in 31st place.

Flames can't be in a playoff spot Sunday with a win. They would be tied with anaheim for PAC3 And Colorado for WC2, but both of those teams would have a game in hand.
Should the flames win tomorrow and the ducks lose to St. Louis and the Canucks beat the Kings on Monday, then CGY would hold a playoff spot.
So not likely the flames wake up in a playoff spot in the next couple of days.

He's from another planet. I'm surprised Chiarelli and the rest of the management haven't been shot and pissed on for completely wasting his ELC. Only the Oilers could screw a situation like that up. For the love of God he needs to demand a trade out of that miserable hellhole.

The Devils-Predators was a good game with great goaltending by Keith Kinkaid who made 34 saves in the win. Ryan Johansen tied itfor the Predators with 66 seconds left in reg time. The Devils did a good job on the PK in OT when Grabner took a penalty with 66 seconds left, Devils win it in the SO.
The Leafs win with Kadri's 2g and 1a and Anderson's 38 saves. The Penguins are stumbling along.
Hellebuyck kept the Jets in it, Flyers hang on for the win.
The Lightning stay in 1st place comfortably in the east as they get by the Habs in the SO. Domingue was in net for Tampa and he gets his 3rd straight victory
