No. I seriously doubt that 96-points would get the Oilers in.

Oilers need to win 9 games just to catch up to where the pack is now. A third of their remaining game just to join the pack. They haven't shown anything that would convince you that they could win 9 more games this season let alone the next 9 in a row.

If the remaining teams go .500 the Oilers would have to win 18 in a row just to climb into a playoff spot. 9 or 12 wouldn't do anything. Wouldn't even get them in the mix.
