I hope somebody in the media pushes Gulutzan on his decision to keep Brouwer out there for two full minutes. Horrendous move by Gully. Horrendous. Absolutely indefensible.

Pooey ending or a pooey game to watch. But what ever, take the point and run.

7-0-2 in the last 9. Points in 9 straight.

Brouwer hasn't been that bad of late. But after two faceoff losses, maybe give it to a guy who stands a chance against O'Reilly? I know Jankowski is a rookie, but he can win you a faceoff in that situation.

Gulutzan continues to mystify...

The last two games on here I’ve seen some people (mostly the same 5-6) suggest the Flames played good enough to win. We can’t be watching the same game. Without Smith, this team would be 0-2 out of the gate after the break.

Great team work. One point up on the Kings, such a bipolar team which keep us guessing what is next. Thanks GG for the bonehead decision with Brower on the face off assignment. Dude is a gem for the opposing team. Now go to throw another stick tomorrow. One lost stick in exchange for 7 straight wins. Very high return for some dead woods

You have how many centers in your lineup who can penalty-kill and you send Brouwer out? Why not Mony, Janko, or Stajan? I'd really like to know what the hell their reasoning was behind this move.
Gully LOVES LOVES LOOOOOOOOVES Brouwer. I have no idea why but he'll put Brouwer out there in any situation especially critical ones.

Monahan was only 62% in the dot tonight; better put Brouwer out there to win an important draw in OT.

Win some, lose some.

As long as they win the next two I'll forgive this one.

Yep. This game will be a drop in the bucket in April. They're waking up in a playoff spot tomorrow and will do the same on Wednesday before their next game.

Shelf this result and move on.

Yet we're only 3 points up on Anaheim who is sitting in 11th. These are the points you need to take home. This isn't a feel good point the team is taking home tonight.

I dislike Brouwer as much as the next guy, and question why he was on that last face off. I don’t get the ice time complaint though. He plays on the second line, th second line gets minutes.

Gulutzan continues to mystify...

This is it exactly: mystify. The rationale for decisions is sometimes so unapparent that you have to scratch your head with both hands...

The only possible justification that I can come up with is that he’s been consulting with Dave Dickinson about key end-of-game strategies...

Team really should be generating more chances vs the Sabres. Sometimes I wish we playe Kulak more than Brodie

This should serves as a damn alarm bell for the team. It's time to get back from the vacation right now. Two very crucial games coming up before the next break. We need to put the Kings away and we need to never lose against the Oilers again. If this stinker could wake the team from their slumber it could be worth it in the end.
