Wild are just like the ####ing Ducks. Hate both teams, both bore you to death and seem to always score on their chances. Frustrating as hell

Feels like the plan on our pp is to show how smart our coaches are with stupid player assignments...because any loser coach can just bomb shots from the Blueline and go for a screen or rebound.

If the pass isn't there go for a shot and rebound, other team will try to block the shot opening up the pass. Makes sense to me but maybe I'm crazy. At some point the player has to make the smart decision, stick with the systems but be flexible and use your instincts.

These busted sticks, my god. Also guys need to start hitting the net. Backlund misses and the puck is all the way down the ice.
Either way its just important to keep the foot on the peddle

No idea how the shot clock only registered 10 for the Flames? Seemed like they had a lot more than that.

Enough with this making goalies look good.
Flames are showing the Wild they can get away with playing a merely opportunistic game with how little they're doing with all their chances and zone time. Have to show more killer instinct, and get the puck to dangerous places. The Wild are giving them all the time on the outside to set something up.
Could use that extra pure sniper like a Kane. Everything being funnelled through Monahan or Tkachuk/Bennett the odd time when they feel like they're on isn't enough to carry them.
Need Gaudreau and Ferland to start shooting with authority again, asap.

I agree baby steps. Better more skilled personnel on both units now but no chemistry yet. Janko instead of Brouwer. Bennett on 2nd unit.
Zone entries still poor though.

So impressive to know that the amazing Oilers can win games where the other team doesn't show up. What a powerhouse!

Haven't heard that one. Ahh lordy, they're still clinging to the belief that they're by default a good team. Can they win 5 straight just to hit .500? Which in itself just makes them mediocre? Yeah I'm sure they're coming around.

Flames games are so predictable. Our blue line is the opposite of an offensive threat. We play 3 on 5 offense and opponents shut it down nightly.

You call that period being shut down? The Flames were just unlucky. Hamilton rushed the puck around the whole offensive zone.
Plus the d was excellent in their own end.
