The Detroit Red Wings are a damn good hockey team with a proud and storied tradition. I would expect nothing less than the effort they put forth tonight given us beating them 6-3 last week at the Dome.
If this group wants to win a cup, it needs to learn to win these games. And I think that is going to be the next evolution of the team if this core is going to have a chance at a cup. They came up against a proud club who were out to prove a point.

Well, no.
I will agree that Smith has been terrific, and he has stolen a couple of games. But the team has played a bunch of legitimately excellent games in which they were full marks for the wins from stem-to-stern.
This was just all round an awful, dog of a game.
