Gillies almost = Smith Lol. Gillies doesn't have NHL caliber rebound control. He needs work

That was pretty high. No review?

Ha, I forgot that Lawson Crouse, another ex-Panthers, is also in this one. Gave him up to get rid of Bolland's contract.

Derek Stepan
Christian Dvorak
Nick Cousins
Brad Richardson

That might be the only group worse than the Knights' centers.
This is what I'm thinking...they stole a game in Dallas but the Yotes honestly might be a worse team. Its certainly not a mismatch IMO

come on now...Yotes want to win

I suppose they didn't feel like winning last game either

This will be my only response to this, as I don’t really feel the need to defend myself for a thought, but feel I should at least clarify further.

I did say hazard a thought. I didn’t make a steadfast opinion, and I most certainly didn’t imply that they don’t want to win. It was and is simply a thought, on the mindset of those playing tonight. It has nothing to do with any other game Arizona or Vegas have played. Arizona is not a strong team, however it wouldn’t surprise me if some, if not most, on that team, are slightly rattled for this game.

FWIW, I’m a big believer of fate. And I believe that karma and fate won’t deny Vegas tonight. I am cheering for Vegas tonight, regardless of outcome or my beliefs.

*removed karma. Oops.

Vegas is really fast. They've got some good pieces on defense. Softer hands than I would've anticipated.

Good luck to them.

Not trying to offend, but you don't understand what karma is then. You're not alone though. Most people get it wrong.

Pretty sure the NHL set Vegas up with an opponent they could possibly beat and one that didn't have many fans for opening night. They weren't gonna put the Hawks in there or something

Randomly, highlight of Jankowski scoring on the Oilers during the panel.

EDIT: Preview of 31 thoughts. Jankowski not going to be in the AHL long according to Friedman

Am I the only one that thinks Vegas' jerseys look like something out of an all-star game? There's just way too much going on...

agreed, I think its terrible and will be even worse when the novelty wears off

Home is a bit better than the road jersey IMO

People also said that about the Sharks wearing teal. I guess the lesson is people get used to stuff.

Arizona is also the most natural rival, IMO.

Oh damn, just saw the highlights of that Philly/Nashville game. Elliott looked terrible on the game winner, regardless of the circumstances that led to it.

I'm calling it now. Brian Elliott will get hit by a battery at some point this year from a Philly fan.

Maybe that too...but I'm pretty certain the NHL didn't want them getting blown out with a rink full of the other teams fans

Car battery. Possible one from a Tesla.

I'm in awe of just how bad Arizona still is. Weren't people applauding their off-season moves?
