Just got my jersey in the mail from HockeyAuthentic. It is legit and not a knockoff!

Adidas is making two distinct one-off special jerseys for the outdoor game aren't they?

Maybe a retro night will also apply and there will be an Adidas version. I've been working under the assumption retro night will just be discounts on retro style merchandise, but the team will wear the normal home jersey. But several others suggested we will get a one-off retro jersey.

I'm guessing it is retro night in name only, no jerseys.

They have western night, retro night, armed forces night etc every single year and have for quite some time.

I'm sure they had retro night before we wore the retros, which didn't start until 2009 or 2010 IIRC.

It'll likely just mean 80s music, the arena host guy wearing a big hair 80s wig and lots of blast from the past videos.

True, but I think the Winter Classic is a bit of a different beast.

I fully expect 'Retro-night' to be 80's music and goofy jumbotron specials in between whistles. Hope I'm wrong though!

They well could cover up or remove the Reebok tag on the back top for the one game. For some reason I thought when one of the last few jersey changeovers they did something similar.

Maybe it was the change to go all CCM and no Kohos after the lockout on all home jerseys. Instead of making new CCM they covered/altered just the Kohos logo. Whatever, I think there would be a simple way around it without the jersey needing to be specifically an Adidas for one game.

Interestingly enough, the fake Chinese site hasn't tried to process payment yet (I have been waiting for it to appear to report the transaction). My Sport Check one should be here tomorrow and then I can get it stitched. I got a Small - hopefully that's not too big. They had XS as well.

Since Adidas owns Reebok, they could just slap the Adidas logo on the Reebok retros like they did back in 2009-10 when the Flames wore the retros in the old CCM cut but had the RBK logo on them (because they own CCM too).

I believe Adidas is still making the on-ice jerseys at the same factory in Quebec where the Reebok and CCM/Koho jerseys were previously made.

It probably won't happen, and they'll just wear the regular jerseys for retro night, but they could do it if Adidas wanted to.

Clear your cache. Women tend to love looking at internet history. Congrats and good luck on proposing! Jagr retro will look great btw.

Costco for the ring - you will not find a better deal.

Haven't read the whole thread so apologize if this was answered...is the NHL shop the best place to order online? They do a good job with the stitching of the letters and numbers? I seem to recall people having quality issues with them a few years back.
