Are they serious? It's a fan poll... and nobody here has set up bots to auto-vote or anything. I've voted a grand total of one time this round... we just want to see the Flames win because we think it's the best.
I actually know of other fanbases who are stuffing votes for other teams, too... like, come on.
But I agree with what Split98 said... I completely respect Icethetics as a website and everything it is, and I don't want to disturb any of their wishes. Let's see how it all plays out.

Okay so what happens to the votes from any other fan base that shared it on Facebook? This doesn't make any sense. As it was pointed out, you can only vote once a day.

Yeah the more I think of this the more I find it ridiculous.
Nobody's using bots, right? Why can't we vote for the Flames logo -- because it isn't the best in his own mind? He said it himself that he thought the Flames beating the Wild was an "upset", now he sees another Flames-favouring result and he looks into it further? It's a fan vote. The Flames have a lot of fans. I'm sure if it was one of the logos more people deem as the "correct choice" then there wouldn't be a second thought.

Guys, double blind testing shows that unbiased logo-evaluators prefer original 6 logos, invariably.

Yeah like at the very least we're voting for a good logo, unless you have the opinion of this guy in the comments:
"The flames do not have a good logo, much less top 4. I don't understand how anyone could like this logo. ITS A FLAMING C!!!!! How is that a top 4 logo?!?!"
I mean, isn't the Leafs' logo just a blue leaf? But I digress. It's a simple, beautiful logo. Besides, I bet that if you looked somewhere, you'd find a band of Leafs fans doing the same thing.
Personally, I wonder what the site's creator thinks "real results" constitute. Can the Flames winning not be a "real result"?

This has to be the part Chris has struggled with the most. Without bot-voting does it really show that we didn't think the vote was meaningful, or is it the exact opposite?
And then even if you land on the same side of the coin as we have... you still have to decide, is it wrong? Unfortunately, I couldn't just ignore the vote, I was interested in winning and felt the logo was the best. segway...

This was what I was glad didn't happen, but feel isn't being considered. We're voting for what we really believe was the best logo.

Has he never seen an all-star fan vote? Zemgus Girgensons, John Scott... sometimes you just have to let it happen. I don't see what the point of questioning the Flames winning is (unless there is evidence of bot-voting, which I don't condone...) because it undermines the point of having the Flames as an option in the first place. We aren't just jamming the box with a joke option like Scott, either... we all like the Flames and legit think the logo is the best, amirite? Like, I'm sure that if there was to be a poll put up here, the vast majority of people would call the Flames' logo better than the Red Wings'. I'm not sure what's so "pathetic" about this.

Split, what you're missing with those quotes that "sour" the vote is that you assume that all other votes for other teams are totally unbiased, which is totally false and frankly impossible. Of course there is bias and of course people will blindly vote for their own team. The fact a couple of people admitted it on CP is inconsequential. I'm 100% certain that many people who voted, who weren't from cp, did the exact same thing.
The problem is that this clearly isn't about legitimacy of the poll. It is about the teams he thought would win, not winning. Therefore he's manipulating the results to fit his narrative.

That's a very good point. I'm sure Chicago fans are saying the same about the Leafs.
Nixed the rest as I don't want to blame Chris of anything. He may have an entirely different view point of the validity of the votes, but I don't want to accuse him of any manipulation.

I'm not sure what the issue was, he didn't really explain it? Is it just that people voted more than once? It didn't say anything about only voting once per round, I don't think. Or was it more egregious from a bot auto voting? I voted a few times for each round but I kinda figured everyone was doing that.
