2-0 Nashville. Chicago hasn't been able to put anything together.

Interesting approach by Trotz, keep Ovechkin and Backstrom on the bench so that Babs never gets the matchup he wants. Trotz is made for the playoffs.

I've only watched the last 10 minutes of the Caps game, but the Leafs are playing well.

If the Caps wake up though, look out. So many good individuals on that team.

I love seeing the Hawks lose nearly as much as seeing the Flames win. Fu Quenneville and co.

Leafs have definitely been good. Get the feeling that the Caps have another level, but the Leafs just keep interrupting everything they try to get going.

Leafs have a lot of excellent young pieces and pretty good depth.
They are going to be a strong contender sooner than later.

In other words, players are paying MUCH closer attention to their entries than ever before.

If they can make the process more efficient then the review should work fine.
Yeah agreed.

It's just such a momentum/fun killer and I like to gripe anonymously on the internet. I'd probably be bitching for offside replays if they didn't use them.

I'd be okay if they looked at the first replay and said "this is too close to call, so we'll go with what they called on the ice" and get back to it.

I understand why that might not fly, but at the same time, if it takes five or ten minutes to decide if the guy was offside, it literally (and I mean that literally!) does not have any bearing on the play/game/goal.

That Oshie play running into the Leaf goalie is no interference but Bouma's last night is? *sigh*

Oshie just ran Anderson about as clearly as I've ever seen. I can't believe he didn't get called for that.

It should be a delay of game penalty if you fail on the challenge.

Honestly kinda pulling for the Leafs here, or atleast to make a series of it.
