This is exactly how I scored cheap tix (relatively speaking) to game 3 against Anaheim 2 years ago. On game day in the afternoon i just sat on Stub Hub at work hitting refresh every few mins, watching the prices drop lower and lower as we got closer to gametime. Finally when non-nosebleed tix dropped under $100, I jumped on it.
I really hope that isn't the case again this year (as it probably means we're down 0-2 again), but there are perks to that

so my season tickets are $110 each and I bought a 3rd ticket (from draw) right next to my seasons. 3rd ticket is $244! and that's only because it was a single ticket. duos in that area were around $350+ each. crazyness!

Its interesting, i think most casual fans are generally pessimistic about the Flames prospects so that may already be built in to the demand right now. These fans will not be engaged until the Flames win a game.

I got a pair in 214/14 for $249 ea via the lottery. I'm a pretty happy camper, particularly as I have to drive 600 km so I need to be sure I've got a seat.

I used to have STs in the last row in 216 - they were actually fantastic seats. Never had to move your head to watch, spots behind for beer, jackets and wife's purse....and a couple of loud plastic signs to pound on when they scored. Watching plays develop almost made you think you were psychic as you could see space opening up.

Good seats, sat in PL row 6 in 2015 when we eliminated Van in game 6. Low enough to see the flamethrower from the jumbo tron when we score, and close to the beer/ washrooms when they score.

PL is the best place for washrooms/beverage accessibility. Just such a hike.

I got row 6 PL 3 through the sports chek code! I was surprised to get tickets that low. Assumed they would be at the roof. I believe I can still see the other side of the rink in row 6 haha

How is the constant streaming of people walking up to the press level? Is it not that bad?

No idea. The stairs to my seats dead end at my row without access to the PL.
