GG seems to pretty focussed on how the team is playing - win or lose. If they keep playing the right way, there should not be an extended losing streak.
Yep, he stresses not getting too high (or too low) which is really working out for this club. The players themselves as a whole seem content to celebrate on the ice and in the locker room, then start concentrating on the next game immediately.
In his post-practice interview yesterday, Glue Gun said the coaching staff was watching carefully for signs of their game slipping and are diligently correcting when necessary, so that's a pretty good sign.
EDIT - If the streak ends tonight - no biggie, as the next game after that is a "gimmie" game. So at least there's less chance of a total crash & burn.

Glen's been awesome about keeping his emotions in check during this streak.
Watching him when the cameras went to him after crosbys goal stood after the challenge you couldn't tell he was upset.
Previous challenge from a game before I had to laugh because he was covering his mouth with a notebook and then when we were scored on you could see him mutter ffs.
He said before we started the season he keeps his emotions in check and banks them for when they are needed to be withdrawn and he's done that.
The story about them on the train I heard on the radio is pretty cool. I'm glad Derek shared that with the morning show as it gives you an idea where the streak started and how Glen finally had to say something to the players and get them to respond in a friendly manner.
Making them accountable wasn't fun but had to be done. He picked a great spot to do it.
I don't care what people say about us being on a flyers run and we'll come crashing down....I don't see it that way at all. ....sorry rambling on ....just excited to see where we are today in the standings and talking about playoffs and home ice advantage of all things.
I'm sitting in Rockefeller Center right now wearing my Flames ballcap and drinking a milkshake and some guy just walks up to me and points at my hat and says "go Central Michigan!"
I really don't know what to feel

The nice part about the Flames win streak is that it is happening now, towards the end of the season, and not mid-season. With only 13 games to go, every point from here on out is critical. I know that they say that all season, to take advantage of getting points when you can, but now you can see the finish line and you are fighting against teams for positioning. This is the home stretch. A couple losses can mean the difference between home ice advantage and entering as a wild card, or not making it at all.

Well, at least he's not color blind. Just short sighted.

Dang.. you do know what "Go Central Michigan" is slang for in NYC right?
Driving out to BC right now, have the car flag representing the streak!
I'll be standing by the highway watching for you if you get out to the Shuswap! (OK - maybe not, I'll really be watching the Flames-Bruins game, but I WILL go and find my '04 flags!)

Currently driving through sicamous on our way to Osoyoos -- have some Oiler/Canuck fans at home that need to see what a real flag looks like.
