Elliot has really come up huge for us of late. I remember he did the same thing for Blues in the stretch run last season.

Hoping Dougie and Stone are not too serious.

We've never lost a game Stone has played in.

I listened to part of the game on the fan960 and it was very loud. Sports net TV filers it down so much.

Missed the game unfortunately but what another nice win. Positive goal differential now and IIRC now .500 in regulation.

Injuries are never good buts it's ok to work some other guys into the lineup here and there. Team is playing so well that it should be ok for whoever draws in. We don't want the playoffs to be the first time the team faces injury adversity.

Haven't read the entire thread so apologies if this has been mentioned but Guadreau is now a -5. Feels like weeks ago he was in the minus twenties.

+4 tonight and you can tell that plus/minus really means something to him. Hopefully he can get in the positives by the end of the year.

If stone is out any period of time, I think we should call up a Andersson. He has played really well this year and honestly could not be worse than wideman. Unfortunately, its probably going to be Kostka being called up though

Sportsnet probably got used to turning down the volume on all the games so that McDavid crossover-praising can be heard loud-and-clear, except that Ball and Hrudey don't stoop to to that level.

Yeah, let's just calm your tits there. I already admitted I was half joking and completely ignorant about the injury and how serious it could be. I honestly wasn't panicking, but hard to communicate that over a message board I guess.

It doesn't mean I am a "bad fan" or whatever other non-sense you are trying to allude to.

I expect they'd run just like they did right before Stone, which was Wideman on the third pairing and Engelland with Brodie. Except Bart is better than Kulak, so that's a real positive. The one big gaffe when Wideman played with Kulak began with a horrific giveaway by Kulak. The Wideman tried to clear and he muffed it.

So far Calgarypuck, M.D. has come up with:

-Fractured collarbone
-Separated shoulder
-Slashed hand

Very interesting variety there!

Can we pick our battles please? Sportsnet picking up x amount of noise with the mics just goes to show that some people won't leave this forum happy.

8 wins in a row, and until further notice, two d-men that are considered day-to-day hopefully. Let's leave it there and live off the interest for 12 hours!
