Three day break, then starting Thursday, the Flames play every other night until the end of the season.
That should be good for getting them into a playoff rhythm.

Couple of notable statistics from Sunday's game: Bennett was 71% in the face-off circle (10/14) and Tkachuk led the Flames w/5 shots.

Ever since Bennett tuned in Johansen, he has looked like a total different player.
I believe he let his fists deliver his season long frustration out on Johansens face and it has made a huge difference.

Super late to the party, was expecting a sluggish afternoon game, but that was awesome. My favorite thing lately is that I don't have a sense of impending doom with every shot against, Elliott has been so reliable the last 6 weeks or so, this is the guy we were expecting in the summer. Great job boys.

i noticed the same thing. pure speculation on my part, but because his confidence is at a different level, I wonder if his fight - and how he was throwing bombs - was received very well in the room. Much more recognition than when someone else has a scrap. He's a different player.

Just watched Brouwer's post game interview with Roger Millions. Dougie's timing on the photo bomb is just impeccable! He really has this down to a fine science.
( what's even better is I suspect it is ticking Millions off!)

Does anyone see any parallels between this Flames team and the 14/15 Ducks? It's not perfect, but I see some similarities in the seasons they had.
If we can get four lines rolling, strong goaltending and our stars being stars like we have now, we're honestly a strong playoff team this year, imo. We may not challenge for the Cup, but I could easily see this team winning a couple rounds and losing in the West finals.
