I really don't understand it, he used to skate circles around the opposition. Now hes just curling at the corner every time. Its very frustrating

Watch us get shutout after we scored 6 goals last game. It would be such a Flames thing to do.

It's very understandable. It's a high risk play and Gulutzan doesn't like high risk plays.

His shiftyness and speed are his bread and butter. He is so easily forced to the outside now.
I really hope he figures it out soon.

I sometimes wonder if the NHL needs to tighten up on player's stick lengths. It's frustrating that we don't see clean shots/passes, and all of the hacking and wacking on the puck carrier is excessive too. Overall, the stick work makes for a sloppy product.
If everyone's sticks were 3-4 inches shorter, it may open the game up a bit.

Its like when Iggy stopped powering to the net and would just pull up along the boards and look to pass. So annoying.

He's playing a safer brand of hockey. Driving the middle into/through traffic as he crosses the line leads to turn overs (and sometimes awesome offensive plays). I wouldn't be surprised if what he's doing now is by design. 50/50 hockey, don't make any high risk plays in close games.

The coaches must agree with you.
Second on the team in ice time per game.
You have your favourites and players you don't like and so do I.

I thought Bennett had some jump that period, dude honestly can never get a bounce. Brouwer needs to burry that, D coverage was spotty, power play was meh. Versteeg shouldn't be taking slappers from that far out, Dougie should be on the first unit thats. Johnny needs to attack the net.

Pretty decent period, but the Flames picked the absolute worst time in the season for the PP to go ice cold.

That's not a positive. He has one of the worst +/- in the league and every d-man who plays with him looks worse instantly.
It's the GT, if you can't handle people talking about individual plays then don't read it. And I like Brodie so I guess we have something in common.
Brodie has been bad all year and looked just as bad in the first.
