Decent period but the team has zero confidence. Came down to Gaudreau missing his chance and Shaw converting his. But you'd take that chance every time imo.

We appreciate how special playing in Montreal is for Chiasson so much we are willing to give him to you Habs for the low cost of future considerations.

Wideman had his man. Versteeg had the man who made the pass to the goal scorer. TJ had nobody and the goal scorer appeared to be his man.

Hey, who's that AHLer who set Johnny Hockey up all alone in front of Price? Too bad he can't convert on Johnny's set-ups...

There is something seriously wrong with this team. I can't believe management put these bums on the ice in hopes of making the playoffs. Brouwer sucks. Chiasson is AHL quality. Gaudreau looks frustrated and scared. Monahan scores garbage time goals and tap ins but can't contribute something other than a goal. Wideman is the worst top 4 d man in the nhl. Brodie looks like a different player. Giordano isn't worth half of his contract. We have 2 back up goalies. The only bright spot on this team is the MMM line.

I'm starting to think this team was doomed from the get go. They don't have the skill level. We can hardly string passes together. We can't leave our own zone without a dump or deflecting the puck in. Bennett looks really really bad and I'm his biggest fan.

Maybe it's bigger than just the players. Maybe it's aBovey the coach. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I blame Ken King and BT. King for pressuring the team to be something they aren't. Treliving for how he's gone about it. He's a wizard at trading. Terrible at handing out contracts and free agent signings. Even the coaching hire is questionable.

This team should never ever have gone out and signed everyone to a 7 year contract. Gaudreau..
Maybe. But everyone else should have been bridged or traded. Never should have signed Gio for 6 years. Should have traded Wideman 2 years ago.

We aren't a playoff team but we have been building a scrap yard team to make the playoffs. Wish we would have stayed patient, kept all our cap flexibility and just let our kids play and acquire young assets.

Brouwer and Gio alone are 10m. Kill me.

I just wish this coaching staff would start loading up the lines. That's 4 periods without a goal.

Johnny-Monahan-Tkachuk
Gio-Brodie

Has this ever happened yet?

He wasnt covering anyone. There was way too much space to claim he was covering a defenseman. He was standing at the top of the circle on the side of the ice where there was not one habs player

Gio Brodie isn't loading up. Hamilton is better offensively right now.

Why on earth would the coach shuffle the lines? They are doing so well together. Bleech!

Wow, I don't know what to say anymore except the NHL is ridiculous for not holding the officials accountable.

And again starting with Monaghan and Gaudreau instead of the Backlund line to start the PP. Don't change anything Gulatzan. It's all been going so well. As soon as that line gets out the PP generates some chances.
