Johnny needs more money. That will motivate him.

Lots of good looks on that PP. But no goal is disappointing.

Monahan has been great.

Flames had a couple good scoring chances and registered 14 shots. Pretty good period outside of the defensive breakdown on the goal.

Not enough urgency from the Flames in that period. They had some good looks on that 1st PP, but Saros is playing really well. Need more traffic in front.

Thought Gio had a strong period. Johnny was fighting the puck every time he was out there. Monahan continues to have strong games.

Agree, Monahan has looked pretty good so far. Dangerous shot, handling the puck well, in the right place at the right time.

Maybe they come out blazing in the 2nd period? That wasn't a fun period to watch, terrible PP so far.

I think they need to get in on the forecheck a bit harder and really put it to those D, who likely aren't used to playing top pairing minutes.

Then let's just get shots and go to the net, the goalie can see everything we are putting toward the net.

Oh and less Wideman.

I get why Bennett was sit, but just sucks because this team is already lacking a top 6 forward

He hasn't been a top 6 forward so doesn't suck at all.

Wideman in the top 4 still blows mind. Let Kulak have a shot, Widemans favorite play is being pancaked on the boards.

Game is boring but huge shoutouts to the guy who came all the way up to the press level to give me their tickets at random

Even crazier is they're my exact old seats I had(but on the opposite end) before the recession made me downgrade

Quite a trip seeing the game from these seats again...Opec can suck a fat one for taking these away from me

Soft goal against, and Gaudreau needs to up his work ethic. Seems to be happy being a perimeter player rather than attacking...

Awful rebound by Johnson during the Preds goal and soft play by Wideman & Brodie. Meanwhile Preds goalie Saros looks like velcro so far.

its been a frustrating season in the sense that Monahan and Johnny have yet to play well at the same time.
