Poop. Passes a little disjointed + sharks being aggressive. Did their homework on the red hot Flames PP.

Ugly PP. Lots of bad passes killing good chances.

Overall a pretty good period from the Flames. Johnson was outstanding.

Just a suggestion, but if your feed is as bad as mine, tweet or email Sportsnet. The only way they're going to change anything is if they feel like they have to.

Can you imagine how many goals Monahan would have if he put even one of every 10 chances he gets on goal instead of shooting it wide?

Hamilton should've jammed it on the net at the side of the goal there as opposed to passing into feet in the slot. Had space for a second.
It's okay though, they'll do better if they get another (big if).

He had two OK chances that period, shot wide once, Jones made a decent save on the other.

Good period with some decent pressure at times in the Sharks' zone. Johnson playing really well. PP looked completely disjointed, but the Sharks played it really aggressively. Flames are gonna have to find a way to adjust on their next PP chance.

Also it looks like the Chad is back in form. Which makes my heart and nerves happy.

Yes but it has been a continuous problem for #23 this year. He really misses the net a lot, not sure what the issue is because he never seemed to miss the net that much before.

Perhaps he's trying to hit the corner, where he scores (a lot). I guess he could shoot for the middle of the net and get stopped every time. I bet if you compared, he misses about the same as in past years, and about the same as other decent scorers.

With him still working on the 2nd longest point streak in the league this season I'm not too concerned at the moment tbh.

Good road period overall. Hoping we can score first, think we'll roll from there on if we do.

Sharks really aggressive defensively. Taking away space. Flames D could jump up more, add that extra layer and open up some ice.

According to Monahan's shot totals versus iFenwick, he hits the net something like 80% of the time.
