Leafs are good at this remember when they used to blame it on Phil Kessel?

McDavid leads the league in scoring but has been held pointless in 11 games. Damn that's pretty inconsistent.

I remember when Phil Kessel was PPG with Bozak for 3 years and everyone crapped on him for being one-dimensional.

It turns out it was just the Leafs who were a terrible team.

At least Spector calls his articles "West Coast Bias". LOL.
He had the Patrick Laine article ready within an hour of that goal being scored.

They don't look any worse without him.

That is pretty rich, likely a better team. Did he watch the same game.

No, they (Caryle and the media) always said Kessel was lazy. They always blamed blown leads on Reimer.

"Likely" = definitely. They're just too proud to admit it. I don't know if delusional even begins to describe their circle jerk media.

At least the people covering Calgary can straight up admit when they're up against a better team and don't pretend like the hometown team is a surefire dynasty that's about to put it together any second every damn year, and each time they lose a game handily it doesn't come down to this or that excuse, other than "this team isn't that great."

Good teams are better than the excuses.

Probably a geoblock. Can't have anyone south of Edmonton try to use logic

Yup tonight was a good one for the Flames. Really hope we can continue the streak, and build some pillow.

The backup goaltenders in the NYR/'Hawks' game were stellar again...fantastic two games between two solid teams, this passed week.
