Congrats to Iggy. Unfortunately the Habs are ruining the party. They already lead 5-0 just over 8 minutes in (5th goal was Byron on a breakaway).
Also, it is crazy Iginla could have played up to another 116 games if not for the lockouts and would have easily gotten another 50 goals and 100 points. I don't think I'm going on much of a limb saying he is the best player ever to not win a Cup.

I have no idea why he signed with the Avs, did no one else offer anything close?
He got term and dollars but that team is going nowhere.
When he signed with them the Avs had just won the Central Division with the 3rd best record in the league. It was thought that Iginla was the missing piece that would lead them to the cup.
Unfortunately the Avs success in 2013-14 turned out to be all smoke and mirrors with a horrible defence covered up by Varlamov and their young forwards having career years. Three years later the defence is still bad, Varlamov has regressed to average, their young forwards have not progressed as expected and their amazing centre depth is no more after losing Stastny and O'Reilly.

Assuming the Avs want to deal him come deadline (or before), where do you guys see him landing? MTL, CHI, PIT, STL? Who do u guys think will make a push for him? CGY?
Now Iginla's scoring at a 20pt pace on a crap team, and that's half on the powerplay. He's being lined up with MacKinnon on the first line and still hasn't produced. Thanks Bourque. It's evident that Iggy at least can't hang against elite quality of competition anymore and still be effective. Maybe it has to do with his ice time? They're throwing Iggy more ice time than we give Monahan.
I don't know where he'd fit in the lineup either, unless Chiasson/Hathaway gets hurt and we get to see Gaudreau - Bennett - Iginla on the 3rd line. Oh boy, that would be amazing.

That'd be cool, but why would you put Gaudreau, a LW, on the right side, and Iginla, who people should very well know from his 16 seasons in calgary is a RW on the left side?

Iginla has a great off-wing one-timer on the powerplay.

Yeah, as noted above - Iggy has long played the off-wing on the power play. Johnny feeding him from the right side, Iggy unloading them from the left side.

Poor Iggy. I've got a Budweiser red light, my TV room looked like a disco in the first period.
