Last time Talbot didn't save their bacon they lost 6-2. So it should implode soon... I think?

Also should note Carolina broke the Dome curse tonight.
First game since 2002 the have won in Calgary.

If I had to pick a word for the game --- uninspired.
How a team that has seen a slow start season after season can't get motivated is beyond me.
I tense up every time I see Dougie Hamilton act like a winger.

If Backlund is the best 3rd line centre in the league, Bennett is without question the worst second line centre in the league right now. Absolutely nothing to contribute offensively.
Monahan is struggling mightily as well. You can see he's getting frustrated out there.

Nah...
We have seen this play out for over 10 years now.
Oilers come out strong and are out by the end of November.
Flames suck at the start but either make it or just miss out typically.

There is zero reason to single out any one player at this stage.
The whole team is complete trash right now, coaches included.

Moves I would make in the next week. Tkachuk back to junior (he's not ready). Shinkaruk called up (he's ready). Closed door session with the coaching staff to remind them that their job is to have the team prepared to play each night. The Flames look extremely unprepared and have so every game this year. This must change in short order.
