Crowd has been a little annoying at times, but otherwise it's been a pretty good atmosphere.

I do think Andy will beat him, but Del Potro winning the gold would be the best story of the Olympics.

Michelle Li plays her first match in Badminton Women's Singles. She is on CBC online right now. Li beat Sarosi pretty easily in the Canadian Open a couple of months ago.

Much like the Del-Potro - Djokovic match, I hope that this match today has created some new tennis fans

Did anyone else attend the Yonex Canadian Open at Winsport? So much fun! If you ever get the opportunity to attend professional badminton live do it!

What is this lame indoor cycling event on TSN1 right now? Some guy riding around on an electric bike while six cyclists follow him around slowly for half the race, then he goes off and they start trying.

I watched it the last two years. It will back in Calgary next year as well from what I hear. It sounds like they might pay to bring over some higher calibre players over next year since it was a very weak field this year and attendance was down.

Michelle Li beats Sarosi quite easily in 2 games. Her next match tomorrow against the #9 seed Sindhu from India will be much harder, but Li has beaten her twice before. So I expect a very close match.

Just read about the badminton preview for the games, and it's interesting to see how big of a deal it was back in London when several teams were disqualified for throwing games. They were trying to get an easier opponent in the knockout stage. This is funny to me as this happens in soccer and nothing is done about it...
