I see Johnny improving from last year but Monahan will be the biggest benefactor as he pushes 40Gs thanks to his and Gaudreau's development.

^That would be one helluva season, Stars led the league last year with 265 goals, Caps were 2nd with 248. Your total is 252. So the Flames should win or be 2nd in the West with those numbers.

Only One.. "7.0 AAV / 8 Years"

Maybe also make a point to embarrass the Oil with surgical precision and consistency

Yeah, thing is, none of those seasons from our players would be out of line with what they've done or what they're quite capable of. Just a matter of putting it together as a team, which I think will be a lot easier with a capable goaltender they can play more confidently in front of.

No that is 252 with only 12 forwards and 4 D.... with a lot of missed games ... The Flames should easily be above the 265 line when the call up scoring is tallied..

Tkachuk/Shinkaruk highest scoring rookie pair

Why the hate for Stajan and Bouma and Chiasson? Everyone else has career years.

That really shows where the Flames lineup stacks up...... looking at everyone having career years and still just barely the most goals in the league.

Need more goals from the top end Benn 41- Sequin 33 and Spezza 33.

I don't have career years in goals for others including Gaudreau, Frolik etc. and nothing completely out of the ordinary for anyone.

No hate for those three, I'm just guessing their roles offensively are not huge.

Overall, I think the Flames have a big year.

Jokipakka had 2 goals 10 assists last year and the season before he had 0 goals and 10 assists.

That would be crazy jump in production for him.

True. Might be a stretch, but maybe a year with Hamilton would bump it up.

The more things change the more they are the same:

In 2010-11 the Flames went into a season with 10 legit 20+ goal scorers:

Iginla, Tanguay, Jokinen, Glencross, Bourque, Hagman, Stajan, Kotalik and Moss.... Morrison was brought in as #10 to fill in for the injured Langkow.

Out of the 10 Bourque actually did have a career year with 27 goals.

Wonder if Flames tried to get Hall for him.
