Hickey absolutely destroyed Drouin. That one hurt.

That Drouin hit looked painful - great clean body check by Hickey.
Kings probably regret losing him now.

how is that acceptable? This is a nationally televised broadcast, and these refs and players speak like that knowing that anything could get picked up and broadcast to young children all over north america? despicable. I hope he is done for the playoffs if that is how he speaks while "reffing". brutal.

See, the initial and principal point of contact is the head but it's a pure, straight through the body hit. That should be considered clean.

While salty language isn't great, I'm not that concerned about my 3 year old hearing it the odd time on TV. No child was ever harmed in any way by hearing a swear word on TV

Hedman and Leddy traded even-strength goals and it was 2-2 after forty minutes and the Islanders had the edge in shots, 29-26.
Bailey scores his second of the game early in the third period, this time on the power play. A lightning strike just 58 seconds later by Namestnikov ties the game 3-3!

Reffing is atrocious but what else is new. Hooks and holds all over the ice going uncalled.

man... what a play by Drouin. Especially after getting rocked...
Not a huge kid 5'11", so you don't have to be big to play big... kid has really impressed me this playoff...
any chance Nylander has some battle in him?

Overtime picks?
I'll take the storyline picks... Tavares and Drouin. I would normally say Killorn but I like the narrative too much.
