Forsberg is probably going to be the most successful forward in the Predators short franchise history soon enough. The Erat + Latta trade for Forsberg has got to be one of the most lopsided trades in a while.

It's because the Ducks had an unreal record in the second half of the season to come all the way back from the basement to win their division. They had all of 10 regulation losses since New Year's day, including an 11 game winning streak. You don't do that if you're a bad team. Plus, since the offense wasn't as potent this year, they relied heavily on defense and goaltending, the magic recipe for winning in the playoffs. There's nothing about the Ducks that makes me think they are a pretender.
The only reason the Predators might win this series is because they match up well against Anaheim. Had a great record against them this year IIRC.

The Preds were 2-1 against the Ducks in the regular season. Nashville won their home games 5-1 and 3-2. The Ducks won their home game 4-2. The games were early in the season, Oct. 22, Nov. 1 and 15.

This game can be found on Sportsnet 360 until the end of the NYI-FLA game, then it will be available on the other Sportsnet channels as well

Those announcers are horrible. Predators go offside on a delayed call against the Ducks, the announcer is then baffled why the draw is in the Ducks zone.
