I suppose it all depends on his condition and its treatment.

Summary of podcast
I need to be back. I need some normalcy.
Liver enzymes levels were off the charts and the first doctor worried that he may have Hepititus. Went through weeks of blood tests.
Cat scan and MRI showed no Cancer or any major blockages. Problem is still juandice and very yellow skin (Liver level is nowhere near where it hould be) Still a long way to go.
This has been a life changing, faith restoring, learning about people and what they mean and how they feel. Thought about a lot of things and still do.
I don't know what to say in all the thank you's. The tweets and words of support has been overwhelming.
Still needs to see a liver specialist to hopefully get him some answers. Some of the medical issues can go on for awhile.
Spoke very highly of Treliving, Burke and all the coaching staff for their support. Kelly Kirsh and all the staff at the Fan as well as the whole broadcasting community.
Tell the people you care the most about that you love them and that they matter and to take the time to value their opinions and what they think. People are the most important!

The interview did make me wonder if he knows more than he was telling the listening audience. He sounds like he is very scared for his future and not that hopefull for a positive outcome. Maybe it's the fear of the unknown, I don't know, but I feel for what he is going through and wish he would get some answers soon to what is causing his condition.

The good thing about livers is that if you figure out what's causing the damage and remove it, they can regenerate. You can regenerate up to 70% of your liver if the damage isn't too severe. Let's hope the doctors can find what's causing this ASAP.

I can see your thinking but he's a pretty emotional guy and has been going through tough times. He should be scared as he's still not in the clear and is awaiting a proper prognosis from a specialist. Peter sound like s trooper though as he's had some tough times professionally and he's battled back and I think he's more than capable of battling through this. I just hope the professionals can figure this out sooner than later.

Did I hear him today over the noon hour on 960? I missed the start and end of the segment but it sure sounded like him. I like his NHL stuff, loved him even more when he was covering the WHL.

Yep he's back for his regular segment this week. Usually comes on around noon or shortly thereafter.

I really really really hope hes not serious about going to a naturopath, that will be the biggest mistake of his life. It sounds like hes got painless obstructive jaundice - I hope its not cancer. Given how tearful he was in that interview, I think thats the leading diagnosis.
