Yah, but Colborne is just too tentative. Doesn't think or move fast enough most of the time. If he could get the trick down he could be big enough to be like a Tomas Holmstrom in front of the net.

That's why most of his goals come from inside the crease or just outside of it in the AHL.

I don't disagree. Just pointing out that the options are pretty limited for the power play winger spot. Since Hathaway is a two game guy, and probably hasn't practiced power play, and Frolik kills penalties, I'm not shocked it's Colborne. Jones wouldn't be an upgrade anyway, and Hudler isn't there.

Yo-Key-Puck-ah is closer and probably easier to remember too.

Tough period for Colborne for sure...no idea whats happened to him but he is not playing well at all recently.
Backlund may have been just as bad. No clue what it is he thinks at times. Been really good last 6 weeks or so but I'm seeing old bad Backlund show up more and more.
Hopefully he gets used in a package to upgrade forwards over the summer. Such a frustrating player cause you know there is so much more there and he is getting paid like it to.

I have no problem with Colborne or Backlund. Only issue is they aren't top 6 players. They are good depth players, which are important. We need 2 or even 3 better players in the top 6.

Well, he's not on PP1 this time. But that was a poor effort.

the super slow drop pass on the PP is the worst ever. Why do they keep trying it?
