LOL I know right? It's so weird that people in the prairies eat cereal for breakfast, and not fish five days a week like people on an island in the Pacific. I had an extra bowl of misplaced smugness before bed last night even!

Ahh bugger. Yeah, Celiac is a real ####### of a disease to work around. I'm sure they'll have a gluten-free variant soon.

It's available in the US, and last month was the first time I saw the regular one labeled gluten free, so it shouldn't be long now.

Chinese breakfasts are pretty sweet. Congee and soy sauce fried noodles. Awesome. A lot of carbs for sure, but so tasty!

my favourite international breakfast. Toast, a little pureed/grated tomato with some salt, pepper and olive oil.

Turkey has the best breakfast. Thick slices of fresh bread, tomato, cucumber, olives, a chunk of feta cheese, and endless cups of sweet tea.

I'm not a cereal guy. Never was. Since I was a teen I just liked to eat leftovers for breakfast.
Steak an potaoes, yeah man!
So many perogies.
Recently trying to be more healthy. A banana and yogurt guy.
I had a girl once who made the most amazing breakfasts. But that probably doesn't count.

The best is Cholla with Puri and sliced onions for breakfast.

I often have mushroom or tomato soup for breakfast. I don't know why I crave those things in the morning.
I'm also a sucker for kid's cereal.

I don't buy cereal because if I do, I destroy it. Like an animal. We never got sweet cereal growing up (LIFE was the closest thing, and damn that stuff is delicious), so if I do by cereal its something stupid like Fruit Loops or Honey Comb. And then that box is gone within a couple days and I just feel like/am a fatass.

Same here. Honey Nut Cheerios was the sweetest cereal I was allowed to eat growing up. We always had Wheatabix, puffed wheat and rice crispies.
Now I am all about the Sugar Crisp, Golden Grahams, Cap'n Crunch.... Last weekend, I bought a family size box of Lucky Charms for $4 at Walmart.
Although when you look at the calorie information, some people might be surprised to see that sweet kid's cereal is not that much worse for you than other cereals.

If i buy a box of Cap'n Crunch, the only reason I stop eating it is because my mouth is bleeding.

It's so crazy how that works.
I was allowed to have all the candy, cereal, pop, chips, etc...I wanted. Now I have no desire to eat any junk food. I like to eat chicken with veggies/potatoes, lean fish, etc...
If I were to eat a cereal, it would be something like plan corn flakes or chex.

I think I'll always love the taste of Fruit Loops and Frosted Flakes in a a cold bowl of milk. It totally reminds me of being a kid, and the nostalgia of it hits me every time.
