It's about time the Flames ran into some generous goaltending for once.

Gio? Holds on to the puck forever then ices it.
Can hardly wait for him to get his head back in the game this season, would be a huge boost for the team.

Gio has 7 centuries to make a play, and ices it.
What is wrong with this guy?

@NHLFlames @ferdaddy27 facing off against a childhood idol in Jordin Tootoo. Says he use to wait outside rink in Brandon for his autograph

Was just about to say Colborne is flying out there and then he takes that penalty. Sigh.

Ball an Hrudey talking about how Jones could be a suitsales man.
After he retires he could open a suit chain called Davey Jones' Locker.

I know. I just don't understand it. He was so good at distributing the puck last year, or rushing it himself. This year he slows it down so much so everyone's at a standstill and then either turns it over, ices it, or passes it back to Brodie. Never seems to be doing anything productive with it himself.

Great play by Jooris. If only Hartley gave this guy minutes instead of scratching him for Bollig.

I think it had more to do with Grant out working him while he was here.

Not a perfect period by any means but I'll take a 2-0 lead any day. Hopefully they can put a couple more in during the 2nd.

I liked seeing Colborne with Mony and Gaudreau for that brief minute.

2 more periods like that please. Except maybe the give-aways, can do without those.

I wanted that line together since the start of 2014, same as ForeverFlamesFan. I have them as a line in NHL 14 and Colborne's leading team in +/-.

Well I'll give credit where credit is due. Ramo kept us in the game early on and made a couple of huge saves.

Leah Hextall suggests it was our best period of the season. Erm, no, lets calm it down a bit. Its been pretty ropey at points and we are only up 2-0 because Schneider had a brain fart twice. Need to see way more from the Flames in the 2nd period.
