Good lord, I can't believe I watched most of that abortion. The NHL owes me 3 hours, which I conservatively estimate at $1,050 + GST. I will send Gary a bill.

Best effort of the season!

Backlund, I'm sorry I asked Hartley to bench you. I was wrong.

Six late period goals this season. Scouting reports must have seen this, Flyers came on hard in the last minute of each period, and it paid off in the 2nd for them. Flames seem to take their foot off the gas in those last few seconds, Ramo included.

Anyway, glad we got 2, lots of positives in this win. Johnny was flying tonight. 🔥 🔥 🔥

Of course, and I agree it's what counts. He did enough to let the team win it.

Positives for the game tonight is that they were a much better defensive team.

What, did Bettman chain you to your seat and staple your eyes open?

Just back from the game and I cannot believe the negativity in here. Was it the greatest game ever? No. But they played solid and got the win they deserved.

Easily - EASILY - the best game they have played defensively this year. And I think maybe that accounts for some of the views in here. They were very focused on playing good defense and maybe it dampened their offensive flow a bit, but they got the job done.

I actually thought the Flyers played well defensively as well, and made it hard for the Flames to get much going.

Thought Ramo was solid. The goal was weak, but his body of work was good overall.

TJ Brodie. Period.

Thought Grant was really good. Bollig too. And Jooris is really starting to skate.

Monahan and Hudler... well, hopefully they can get it going soon.

Backlund was really good tonight. Not just because of the OT goal, his line shut down Giroux's line all night. Really good job by them. And he had jump all night - glad he got rewarded.

I thought they played well.

I honestly don't think Ramo's goal was too bad

I'm done with Ramo. You guys keep smoking the ramo hype pipe and rot your brains.
Gotta call BS on that... there was some good shots on him tonight, to say he faced Zero good shots and everything hit him in the chest is a big stretch, and the fact that many did hit him in the chest means... he was in good position and he trapped a lot of shots properly he was aggressive at the right times I thought tonight... and he also steered many away better then kicking them back at the opposition.

The hating in here gets a bit thick at times, give the guy at least some credit, not saying he was world-beating good but he was solid enough to take the team to a win when they were not putting up a bunch of points themselves.

I was a lot more concerned by other players on this team then I was with Ramo tonight.

Sure he was probably solid tonight.

The guy lets in 1 goal and he gets a hard time about it. Ramo shut them down when he needed to in the third and OT. People have been asking for 'average' or '.900+' goaltending and thats what you got.

Not to pile on, but that was one of the most non-NHL feeling games I have ever attended. What a snoozefest. Blech. We won, and I still feel like a flushed my money down the toilet. I was playing scrabble on my phone for the last half of the game to feel entertained.

This team has no energy whatsoever.

Surprised people are defending Ramo! That was a really soft goal to let in.Besides that he played well I guess. Does that mean I want Hiller or Ortio? No, no goalie has looked good. Yet kept it under 4 goals tonight so that is good!Ugly game really, I will take the win and move on.Positives from the game is we did not lose! Beyond that, not much to be happy about!Sure would be nice to go on a winning streak right now.I will say though, tonight we clogged up the neutral zone. Makes for boring hockey. Yet it worked. Not a fan of that type of hockey but wins are wins!
