Kind of related, am I the only one getting some giant white screen advertisement? It wants to load something, fancy little spinning loading icon dead centre but it just blocks the majority of the screen. Need to reload the page to get rid of it. Only on CP, started today. Chrome mobile.

Yeah seeing it on my phone too. It seems to be about the same time when it happens, I wonder if it's some automated maintenance process. Though I did see it all go down a few times over the past week and there wasn't anything obvious causing it.
EDIT: And now it seems back to normal, like the process ended.

Seemed to slow down just now for me. Was on a computer so looked at the queries, and there's a query that's getting the # of posts since today at 00:00, but it's doing it in a way that forces the database to look at the date for all 5.6 million records in the post table, hence the slowdown.
It's not a normal query, so I'll have to dig around to figure out what's calling it, either a maintenance process that runs each day around this time (which I'll have to see if I can change), or I kind of suspect it's Tapatalk.
EDIT: Also saw a query that did some maintenance to the guest views table, which is probably also an automated job.

Took a look and there's 3 daily jobs all scheduled for right around 5pm. Re-scheduled them for midnight.

I don't know what it is, something is kicking in at that time, but I've resecheduled all the jobs to other times. There's hourly jobs but they run every hour.

Really? I thought it was just a short span around 5ish that it was a problem, I haven't seen any problems the rest of the time.

I can't even get to the site or the host company website, but works fine on my phone.
The server is under almost zero load, but I can't even create any new ssh sessions to it.
Seems maybe an isp problem?
