Yep that was awful. Nothing was worse than November 26, 1996 though. I had the distinction of being at the game. Oilers 10-1 over the Flames. Worse yet, 10 different Oilers scored. I believe the only highlight for the Flames was that Todd Simpson was +/- 0 and had a solid game. Dave Gagner scored for the Flames.

So whatever happens tonight - and I think the boys could grab the W with a little good fortune - it can't be that bad. Not. Even. Close.

GFG!

Like most, I desperately want a Flames victory and hope they snap out of this funk. With that being said, the way we're playing I'm not going to think Ortio is coming in and problems will be solved.

We've only scored 3 goals in a game this season and two of those were in OT. This team has the ability to score as proven last season but it seems we are playing a lot different. I'm not one that fully believes in puck possession time but this is the biggest issue in my opinion.

Last season we didn't have good puck possession time but when we did have the puck, it was meaningful possession time. This season it seems like we just dump it in the zone, chip it out of our zone, etc.

I hope we address this quick.

They never intended to house an NHL team in the Barclays center when they designed it. Only Basketball and concerts.

When they made the announcement that the Isles were going to move in, the mock ups were exactly what we're seeing now. This move was a desperate attempt by Wang to get out of Nassau.

Not surprising you're seeing low numbers, the stage side seating are one of the most terrible viewing spaces ever made for hockey.
