In my honest opinion, this was a CHICKEN WING trying to get Datsuk the LADY BYNG back!

That said, a great 2 periods(as that was all I saw #bluejays) and should have won in regulation based on this effort.

From Gios 1st star interview on ice after the game. The first question was about the crowd and the emotion in the building tonight. His response.

"Stick with us guys. We're coming."

Then proceeded to leave the ice. Interview over. If he'd had the mic he'd have dropped it.

Watched the game (after the Jays games)

- Gaudreau is a Franchise Player, F ya.
- Gio is back!!!!
- Hiller looked a lot more relaxed. SN 960 guys were saying he looked a lot more relaxed before the game. Early but hopefully giving him the reigns is just what the doctor ordered.
- Defensive pairings worked MUCH better

And Brodie is back soon!!

If the Flames play like this consistently, they are a playoff team for sure! Dominated the Wings, even though the score didn't reflect it.

HUGE road trip. Need to go at least .500 hopefully grab 3 outta 4. This will be the test to see if last night wasnt a fluke.

And most important next Sat against the Greasers. I want to CRUSH them!!!

If you have center ice package you can rewatch on demand games. Not sure other than that.

It's nice that everyone in the division is struggling at the same time. We're not too far behind the 8-ball.

Smells like hope in here again ! #Boblieve The Captain is in the building!
great game all around last night , but man a F'n hate Detroit so many little hooks/interference ,blatant hit on Johnny ! and they constantly get away with it.
Love the bottom 6 right now , so poised and speedy. Now if Backs,Frolik, and Bennett can start putting puck in net we're set.

In baseball terms, we're two games out of first. Two games.

(I know, no one wants to see baseball terms right now, but still)

Hopefully the boys are back and the fan-panic is behind us.

The season started with this game.

So 3 on 3 players were:
Gaudreau, Monahan, Backlund, Colborne
Giordano, Wideman, Hamilton, Russell

Interesting no Hudler.

I'm more wondering if the league will review Bennett's hit on Quincey, from my vantage point it looked a potential head shot candidate.

Looks clean to me... primary point of contact was shoulder and Jooris only left his feet after contact.
