Worst feeling as a flames fan in over a year. Fire everyone, trade everyone, fold team, hide under rock, stop loving hockey.

Yup, the coaches had their share in this as well. Team looks unprepared, unorganized in their own zone on the PK and 5 on 5.

Time for Hartley to bring out the whip, which he (over)used last year to get the most out of the team. Hopefully his whip still has an effect on the team and it hasn't worn itself out.

Losing too many puck battles, lack of intensity. Nothing like what we loved about last years team yet.

This was the worst loss I've watched in years.

The only solace in tonight's outcome is actually seeing how much this one win meant to the Oil faithful in the Dome. We got to celebrate a playoff win just a few short months ago, while one regular season win in game 5 of the season appeared to be as special as a cup win to those fans. Counter intuitive, but it made me feel much better.

Got back from the game. What really got me heated beyond the pathetic effort from the Flames was how many scumbag Adult Greaser fans were taunting even kids. Pointing at little kids. They were equall to the level of obnoxious antics all game as Canuck fans always are. Quite the accomplishment Greaser fans.

As much as we miss Brodie, the sad reality is there's only so much he can do. We're too soft, not skating hard, making blind passes. We really need to stop making outlet passes. Maybe if we had an Ovechkin that had the skill to do something. But it's either you miss and its an icing or we get in, no support and lose it.

Jones 3rd star....doesn't come out. 2 oilers were the first two stars and they both came out and celebrated. Make of that what you will I've never seen anything like that before.

Hartley was probably peeling paint in the dressing room while the oilers are celebrating like they won the cup, 1-4 ok boys

Brad a goalie has to be traded asap. This has to be adressed neither one is playing up to their capabilities. Are they letting it bother them, it sure seems that way. This is just going to get worse, correction it is going to stay at the same level of crap. Hiller and Ortio or Ramo and Ortio make a decision for crying out loud.

Brutal game, that locker room should be embarrassed.

Team looks very slow and untalented right now

This loss was just as embarrassing as that 9-0 thrashing vs the Bruins a few years back. After awhile...I started laughing after Bruins goals. Tonight? Nothing to laugh about at all. Just a terrible, terrible game.

On the bright side, Jones is on pace for 49 goals!

Ortio need a start, just to shake things up. Didn't think Hiller was bad tonight, except for Hall's goal and maybe even McDavid's first, but it's obvious neither Ramo or Hiller has done anything remarkable. Trade/waive either one and let Ortio have some starts. Also, someone get Brodie in a hyperbaric chamber.

I was happy for McDavid and his parents tonight. There must be a tremendous amount of pressure on him to perform, and we were fortunate enough to get an early glimpse of how great he will be in the NHL.
