Poor Dickey. Another solid game for him, just wasted.

Weak grounder by Smoak to end the game. Ugggh.

Damn, not to be a downer but that extra three feet short of a homerun and is probably the difference in this game.
edit: Whoops, I behind on my PVR, it was already over when I posted that.

Too bad, if we even could have somewhat limited the damage in the 9th then this is probably our game.

That game reminded me of when the Flames fell apart against the Ducks to end their leading after two streak. Too bad it all started because of a blown call by the ump.

Left the golf course when the score was 7-4 and figured the game was over.
Nice to see the Jays attempt a comeback in the bottom of the ninth.

Should have had a few more runs in the bottom of the eight.

I hope Gibby and AA seriously start considering flipping Sanchez and Lowe. Sanchez hasn't pitched well when inheriting runners and more than an inning. This will bite them if this was a postseason game.

Well that was disappointing. Not going to win every game, but you'd sure like to see your closer finish off the game with 7-8-9 hitters up, a two run lead and three outs remaining for the win.
Also, **** are the Red Sox irritating. Like, **** off you basement dwelling turds.

Detroit walks off KC for the 2nd game in a row! Kinsler homers in the bottom of the 11th for a 6-5 Tigers win
Also, LAA did the Jays a favour by sweeping Minny today

Was that really a favor by Anaheim, though? That sweep put them ahead of Minny in the wildcard race and I'd personally rather face the Twins than the Angels.

Minny was ahead of them before today. So yes, the wildcard bar was lowered and the Jays got a little closer to the playoffs.

The shift definitely makes for some odds double play calls, 4-5-3? doubt you ever saw that before the shift.

After a difficult 23-pitch 1st (not unusual for him), Buerhle has settled in nicely. 44 pitches through 3 and a 3-0 lead.

Two things so far
1) The Pillar bunt and the slide into home were great. This team wants to win and it shows
2) that spotify commercial is the worst thing I've ever seen on tv
