I don't know if I'd say I'm the most excited about Bill Arnold but he is a guy for whom I have high hopes. I really expect him to be a dark horse and be that Stephan Yelle type centreman that every team really needs.

The Flames developed, what, 4 or 5 career NHL'ers (400 GP) from 2004-2010?

Moss, Gio, Phaneuf, Backlund, Pardy?

You could probably even go further back to 2000 but I wasn't following the team then so I don't know which prospects we drafted.

I'm sure I'm missing someone but still, I don't think there's any guarantee that any players develop based on sheer quantity of players.

Plus Bouma, Brodie, Stoll, Moen, Foster, Kobasew, Lombardi, Nystrom.

Also, TIL that the Flames drafted Craig Anderson in 1999.
