Well, it's been a terrific run this year. Except for a one week cruise over Christmas last year, Mrs. Ho and I have watched every game.
I want this to last as long as possible. No matter what crap the day threw at me, a Flames game helped make life better. Not that they didn't cause my blood pressure to rise on occasion ~cough Ottawa 4-0 after 2 periods ~cough.
Go Flames! Look for us tonite in section 437 (we'll be ones wearing red!)
No. Not a cause of anything except luck. So that's his only answer... unless they get lucky, they lose.
Screw Lambert
It's like if someone was to ask me, "If Ryan Lambert was to be proven completely wrong, what would explain that?" and my response was "because he's a doosh"
But WHY is he a doosh? Why?

PDO is not luck. It is your players' ability to shoot the puck into the other team's net, added to your players' ability to keep the puck out of their net.

Both of those require skill on their own.
Yes. So when explaining WHY something happened, you should be explaining the skills required to have a good PDO and why they helped/hurt.
You can't just say "Because PDO!" That doesn't explain anything. And explaining anything that is counter to the PDO assumption away as "luck" is totally ridiculous.
The sky is blue. Why? Because... look, blue!
vs
The sky is blue because Sunlight reaches Earth's atmosphere and is scattered in all directions by all the gases and particles in the air. Blue light is scattered in all directions by the tiny molecules of air in Earth's atmosphere. Blue is scattered more than other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.

I'll be setting my alarm for 0400, and while I am less than thrilled with having to watch via a crappy free unsanctioned stream as opposed to the CBC platform, I'll be there.
GFG.
