None of us really know what happened in these incidents. I will say that, in my personal experience, 9 times out of 10 that there is an altercation involving fans - both sides hold some fault.
I think otherwise, what we are talking about here, amounts to assault and charges should be laid.

the dome is not a dangerous place and you should feel safe, i'm sorry that you don't.
you don't deserve to be pushed down the stairs either, not even once, and i'm sorry that you have been inexplicably pushed down the stairs twice this year.
i would posit that you have an axe to grind, or perhaps aren't great with stairs,
either way the dome is not a dangerous place, in fact it was god damned disneyland for most of us last night.
ironic that you're posting in the butthurt nux fan thread. subtle.
You aren't reading the accounts correctly.
The first incident was a girl who threw her arm out at me (in 2011 or 2012) and then I stumbled down a few steps. It was dumb and I didn't get hurt but worth noting.
Last night was a bit more malicious. I wasn't the only person to fall. A woman two seats over literally fell three rows when the Flames scored first. The rows are quite small and it's common. I had a woman break her leg in the PL when I was an usher.

Exactly. That was what I was wondering. If this story is true, then charges absolutely need to be laid.

And I admitted to attempting to push back at him which I regret completely.

Curious . . . You have been going into enemy territory for years now (and have been harassed before), and not expected any tension with local fans, especially wearing a Canucks jersey during a home playoff game?

Nobody should ever have to expect being assaulted IMO.
Being heckled, taunted, and even having fans being loud behind you is one thing.
Being punched in the face is a whole other issue.

The reffing in this series isn't helping things either IMO.
When the refs let things get out of hand on the ice. It tends to cause things to get out of hand in the stands as well.
I can't speak to the incident since I only saw the aftermath but as Dome_YYC was leaving it didn't look like he was trying to start anything.
Flames need to get more security up there and if the on-ice product cleans up at the end of games I doubt we see as much hostility towards other fans.
What is with this getting out of hand on the ice stuff? It's a physical series, there is nothing out of hand about it. Do people forget what every game of the 04 run was like?

I have no issues with taunting and heckling. I'm used to it and I shrug it off. I've heard every joke so it's second nature. I banter back with the Flames fans respectfully. I usually either keep to myself or have conversations with Canucks fans.
The woman to my left and I had a great time. She was very excited to be at the game and joked about that she told her friend if a Canucks fan was beside her, they were gonna hear it all night from her.
And I admitted to attempting to push back at him which I regret completely.
I think the point is that it is extremely hard to believe that you have been assaulted so many times without provocation. Pushing back after someone pushes you is fair game, imo. The question is whether you simply have exceptionally bad luck in finding that .01% of fans that suck, or if you are not being completely honest with us about your own actions prior to these incidents.

Thinking more of the cheap shots that get fans riled up, less so the fighting.
Bennett and Gaudreau both took borderline hits, and Hiller was ran in the last 10 minutes.
Those made the Flames fans angry, and with fans that had been tailgating since 4:00PM and it makes a bad combination.

Were you in PL8? We noticed a Canucks fan get escorted down in the 3rd and it looked like things got kind of heated with the police officers as well on the way out. That woman who fell down 3 rows after the Flames' first goal was a Flames fan with a sign and she wasn't pushed, she just jumped up and lost her balance and pretty much landed on top of us.

There is more holes in Dome_YYC story then holes in Eddie Lack.
I am sorry you got run out of the building like the Canucks did, but are you really going to tell us overtime you go to a game you get assaulted?
Or how about not knowing people are flicking your ear, clapping in your ear? I find it very hard to believe that getting hit in the ear or having your ear drums rung had no effect on you.
Now the picture thing may have happened you can't see from behind your head, but this does not sound very convincing to me.

I totally agree, but on the flip side, no Flames fan should EVER have to expect to be taunted and goaded in his/her own barn either.
All the scenarios posted are all he said, she said....none has provided any prove that they are being assaulted. Pretty soon, some Canucks fans will post something like they got assaulted by Harvey, or saw Harvey spit and harass a poor 11-year old wearing a Canucks jersey.

Harvey once pulled me into one of those tunnel staircases once in all fun in a "hey I'm taking this Canucks fan out of the building" way. I laughed it off with him and he gave me a thumbs up for playing along.

I said last night and I don't count the incident in 2011/12 as anything more then just a really obnoxious woman. I don't recall getting flicked in the ear, but the other guy might have saw incorrectly. The entire building was loud. How would I discern people clapping?
I vote for all Canuck fan's to be banned from entering the Saddledome tomorrow. Would only have to hear the whining from the players, not their fan's either.
Yeah that Nuck fan sounded like a moron - genuinely surprised at the heckling. Duh! And clearly sounded like the kind of person that would just take a swing at someone.
I was at game 2 in Van. Fully expected to get heckled the entire game - and was. Had fun with it and heckled back - carefully, I obviously didn't want to upset anyone and start a scene. But it was fun and a few of them even got me laughing.
Agreed 100% and was also at game 2 in Van. I got heckled and heckled back, but never started anything serious with anyone and no one started anything with me. I heard about a few fights, but never saw anything. It's all about respect and knowing when and how to not cross the line.
If you were going to play Sven you do it in game 1 when he and the team would've felt good about him playing. Now he's being thrown into the fire if you do that.

Just like Raymond? Or was that Bennet? Both of them were thrown in to a pretty hot kiln.

First line was MIA. They get the puck, pass pass pass, cough it up, line change.

Do you magically expect the Canucks to simply turn on a switch?

If our PP was actually good, we'd be 3-0 in the series by the end of the night. But no, we must throw Hamhuis, and everyone must slide the puck to the blue line or throw it back in our own end and fall and cough up the puck on the PP, or do that stupid drop-pass and lose it to the other team.

How old is Bennett again?

18 years old wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooow!!!!!

When does Bennett turn 19
