#Flames Brad Treliving said Sam Bennett is available for Bob Hartley to use...burning a year of his ELC won't keep him out of the line-up.
I like this!

Love these lines. When Monahan is back I swap Bolig with Shore and we're done.

I think bionic Bouma will need all of another week in a hand cast.

I friggen hope so.

I just envision Bouma cranking up a couple notches for the playoffs, despite the outstanding year he's alrady had.

Same... or alternatively put Jooris on the Bennett-Backlund line and Colborne (in lieu of Bollig)with Granlund/Shore. I'd like Colborne and Backlund on different lines as I don't think they play well with each other.

I guarantee someone has attempted to use this logic.

Yeah...but they still need to buy one of these.

I've heard this logic before for sure. The thought process is they would rather tank for x number of years to make sure they build a perennial contender instead of just squeaking into the playoffs like we did.

Is 10 the magic number of tanking years?

We should heed their advice, they've already managed to build a perennial contender up there. Year after year there's few teams who are as widely regarded as them when it comes to challenging for the first overall pick

Raymond had not been great, needs to be better. Colbourne has not played well with anyone. He has played hard, but has not made anyone better, and according to analytic guys both Raymond and Backland have played better away from from him. It is great that he fights against the boards and seems more confident with the puck, but none of this has translated to scoring chances for his line.

They have their annual draft party every year who else can boast that!

That said, I absolutely support the idea of Bennett being tried on left wing, with Backlund/Colborne.
Can't wait for Wednesday
it was a nice pass and that was arguably his best game in a long while but I don't think he should get a free pass because of it
