Not exactly sure what you mean here but based on how he played during his career, I suspect he has more ambition than sitting around counting his money. Not like he made Bill Gates money.

He means that Regehr will likely be living off his savings because any Oilfield service company is going to be in a world of hurt, let alone a small start up company with a friend.

Got it. Some would say that with all the money that has left the industry, we are close to being at a good time to get in. No idea what the deal is with his company but there are some bargains out there. Although I understand valuations still reflect about $70 crude and that is by no means a certainty.

Yeah, but they started this company in 2007, so they're not getting in now, they're just one of hundreds of small Oil service companies that are likely going to be devastated when all is said and done.

EDIT: Oh wait, I think you meant acquiring his company might be a bargain for someone else?

I know Regehr, he's a pretty hard working guy, on and off the ice. Would be stunned if he didn't have solid investments, and a plan going forward, as well as more than one stake in the fire. I haven't obviously discussed his finances with him, but he and his wife seem pretty responsible financially.
