Only 1 point for SJ, better than 2!

Anyway. Yay Joel Ward! My favourite cap!

Used to love him on the Preds too.

Well we have two games in hand on SJ now and they're only one point up.
Time to take advantage!

I'm getting tired of all this leapfrogging.

What a game for Beagle the plug. Played like an all-star in this one. Well-deserving of the 1st star. May have got away with a hook on Hannan, which led to the GWG by Ward but whatever, #### the Sharks. They've had enough time making it to the second season.

Your time and players are past its best before date, San Jose!

The Sharks sure aren't getting the job done right now at crunch time. Let's hope it stays that way over the next couple of weeks.

I betcha Jets fans were the most upset at the Canucks-Bhawks result because it was a 3 point game. After a 0-0 1st period, both teams played a shootout the lights game with 4 goals in each of the 2nd and 3rd periods. Crawford and Lack were busy as the Bhawks out shot the Canucks 41-36, but the Canucks win 5-4. The Penguins crush the Red Wings 4-1. Detroit didn't play well and it wasn't Mrazek's fault, even Babcock mentioned that. Howard was in net for the 3rd period as he played for the first time 5 weeks because of injury. The Capitals win 5-4 in OT over the Sharkies. That was a fun game to watch as the lead seesawed back and forth. Jay Beagle had 3 points. I did PVR the game and with the Canucks-Bhawks game going into OT, the Caps-Sharks was pre-empted by about 3 minutes.

Honestly, contract the damned Blackhawks. They are an even bigger joke than the Oilers right now.

Pity us poor Blackhawk fans...we cringe whenever Rozival , Rundblad, or Oduya jumps over the boards...these guys have been AWFUL in their own zone, with turnover after turnover...I have no idea how Rundblad has the +/- he currently sports...the guy can't play a lick of D.

Bowman keeps saying to expect no moves...but, our top guys are being buried in minutes, as half our D is useless, and too many forwards have lacked consistency (Bickell being the worst).

Oh, and Mike Kitchen keeps proving himself as one of the worst coaches in the league...there is NO EXCUSE for his anemic PP, year after year, given the offensive skills he can trot out there.
