Bouma reminds me of my favourite Flame, Stephane Yelle. He battles hard night in and night out. He is very humble and great with fans, especially the young fans! I am hoping that he will stay here for a very long time, wear a letter and retire as a Flame!

Is it common for a player to register 7 hits a night? Bouma does it on the regular.

He definitly deserves more money, but bigger contracts can ruin these types of guys ie Eric Nystrom. If he made something in the 1.5 range for 3 years that would be fair IMO.

He's not worth 2.5m, at least not yet.

1.5-1.75m x 4 years. These are players you hold onto.

Let's not get carried away. Bouma is having a breakout season but he hasn't hit 20 goals once in his career yet.
