If they "stay the course", have to think league will quietly get involved to encourage them to at least appear to be trying to not tank. Not good for league to keep seeing deadmonton draft parties nor is it good for struggling franchises to miss mcdavid because of this garbage.

My guess is that they will be announcing the Province has redirected the funds that were going to help build their new Arena to one for the Calgary Flames. One can only dream...
