The cool thing about Jooris, he can pretty much play any role on any line. When Wideman went in to the boards (I didn't think it was Hanzal's fault) Jooris stepped up big time, despite giving up a lot of size. It is sure nice to have a guy like him. I have no idea if we can make a run in the SCF or not, but I remember back to 04 and all the guys who played vital roles. Jooris is going to be one of those guys.

He kind of reminds me of Sean Donovan.

We're doing this rebuild thing the old fashioned way - as a team!

Granlund was on the 4th line in the 3rd. Bouma went up in his spot while we were protecting the lead.

Probably because Hartley was throwing Jooris out at every opportunity to get him the hat-trick. So funny to see right after the Coyotes took that last penalty Jooris immediately hop back on the ice

Gaudreau now leads all rookies in assists.

Only 4 points back of Forsberg now and on a tear. +11 now, too. As long as he skates alongside Jooris and Hudler, there's no stopping the Johnny Hockey train.

Coyotes came out strong but a great finish by the Flames. The Coyotes had their usual hooking/holding/interference/general dbaggery on display. I hate everything about that team.

Gotta love Jooris, what a great story. The guys on the bench were obviously pumped for him.

Granlund's line was pinned in the zone a few times tonight. I love Ferland, but he looked a touch behind the play at times.

But look at the shot chart:

The Flames had plenty of chances from premium scoring areas while the Yotes were almost all perimeter.

I hate how Anaheim and Vancouver keep managing to stay BARELY ahead of us.

I'm hungry for 1st in the division now. Agh okay..one step at a time... But when do we play Van next so we can torch them? Stupid Canucks. There can only be one surprise team in the west!

Lol at the Coyotes shot from just outside their own blue line and double lol at the one from the boards by their own faceoff circle. That's some good corsifenwicking by them!
